with otC over and done with. it's now head on into projects and datelines datelines and datelines. gOsh. what a flurry it'll be.
with the planninG of fOc.. guess i'll be busier than ever.
sorry all those, i cannot go out with. i don't intentionally not meet up... just too busy. anywaes. let me know beforehand and i'll do my darnest to make it. forgive my inability to be spontaneous.
anywaes. the camp was a blast. in terms of people....initially there was some trouble, but with time, it got better. good learning experience. lots of points to take note and keep in mind for future camps..
can't hardly wait for fOc to come.
anywae.. it's really physically exhausting.. for the entire three days. like 4 hours of sleep in total.. the eyebags were practically drOOping!
imagine a goldfish... minus the big eyes...replaced by big droopy eyebags.. or the st bernard dog. haha.
grinz.
hmmm. with regards on other matters. you know the saying come what may.
i've realised that by trying too hard, i get nothing other than more emotional stress, unhappiness and feeling lost. so.. que sara sara.. what will be will be.
as long as i'm happy from day to day... it's enough for me now.
to my dearest friends. understand who you are and what you want. but also realise that sometimes not everything to want you get. learn the act of compromise.

do you wonder why the people who are most at peace with themselves are mostly either in the twlight years of their lives or have gone through a life altering experience.
why would this be so?
giving it much thought, i wonder why we can't find peace when we're younger and only manage to grasp it when it's almost too late. why, some people never seem to be able to attain that at all.
in this world, everyone is out to achieve something, be it fame, money, power or love.. but ultimately.. what everyone seeks for is the same.
they are all on the quest to be
happY.
and that itself is more elusive than the reigning princess
love.
i realise that we are often too preoccupied by the journey that we are blinded by the goals we set. so much so that we overlook its presence beside us.
greed might be one of the reason. greed for more happiness. greed to feel more loved. greed to for more power....greed for more tangible goods.
it boils down to a point that you are willing to sacrifice the happiness you have now in exchange for the happiness you hope to gain upon the achievement of the goals.
and so... the quest never ends.. it's a never ending story.
until something comes along to change it. in this case, most often it's something that threatens the existence of your life.
only then, you realise the importance of living.
as they say,
you can have all the fame, power, honour and glory or wealth... and you still can't buy love or happiness.
which brings me to my point.
competiveness is good. but know when to draw the line. achieve that balance in your life.
you can fool the entire world but how long can you hide from yourself?
