when i'm low
bottom's up
for the pain is sharp.
have you ever felt the searing feeling when you realise that someone hasn't been totally honest with you.
you sense it. and yet when you breach the topic, denial hits back at you.
but in the end, the loopholes give way and the truth comes pouring in.
it appears that i'm faced with this constantly
and at numerous junctures of my life
the pain is especially deep
when dealt by someone close
i'm tired of this facade where truth hides beneath faces
when can i find
someone who will open up truly, deeply and sincerely
someone who will not place daggers in the paths of my life
and
especially someone who will cherish all that i have to give
to walk the talk.
