what constitutes to lovable qualities?
a witty humour. intelligence. good looks. character. wealth.
at the end of the day, it does not matter how many of the above qualities you possess. love comes swift like the cupid's arrow blinding you to everything other than this overwhelming feeling inside.
very often, when you ask people what they actually like/love about the other. the answer you'll get in return is a simple 'i don't know'...i just do.
love is the greatest paradox of all time.
it in fact moves beyond the concept of time and reality.
evey person i know evokes a special feeling.. that's how i differentiate the people i meet. perhaps that's why i'm so bad at remembering the names because i never do pay attention to that detail. i just focus on the emotions that are felt upon the interactions with the other.
fate plays an important role in this entire affair too.
i suppose that's how the 'knowing' he's the one all sprung out from.
however, these feelings tend to change with time too. so actually nothing is fixed or constant...
which is precisely why, when the red string is tied between two, it takes an equal amount of effort for it to remain bound.
this brings to mind one of my pet phrases.
love is not blind
it sees more not less
and because it sees more
it is willing to see less
many might disagree, exclaiming on the contradiction of the words. however, from what i gather, it simply means that once the lovey dovey honeymoon period is over and the faults start egging through the surface.
to truly love someone then, it would mean accepting them faults and all. in that instance, you would be willing to overlook all these shortcomings and love the person wholly for who he is.
that.. my friends, is the power and magnitude of love.
it encompasses all, sweeping one into a big web mingled with tantalising emotions, acute sensations that can never be experienced any other way.
