eternal youth
as the years progress, and people around me age, it appears that's the gift of eternal youth has been granted to me at birth.
i witness the gradual aging of my family and friends. especially those in the same age range as me, see them go through puberty and the turmoils of adolescence. now they have all blossomed into such fine young adults ready to charge and make a difference.
i'm still here, still the same.. last call, at 12! the age of PSLE.
boo i say to all. everyone had their go at the growth spurt, mine just passed me by..
but then again, after all the hemhawing, i actually have no complaints. because at least i'm a complete human being. it was all in my genes, this height deficiency.
and to prove my point, i will proudly show you a picture of me in a cheongsam(click) that belonged to my grandaunt. this piece of work is actually older than me and yet still oh so fine. tailor made clothes are simply worth every pinch and penny.
i will have my own sets in the future... to pass to my generations of petite fine young ladyees!.
YES! i AM petite and damn well proud of it.
count on me to laugh at all you sniggers when i'm pushing 40 and looking barely 30.
