road fright.
on the way home, asleep in the car, abruptly awoken to the raised voices of my bro and dad. followed by some snappy events of window being wound down and the transference of vulgar hand signs accompanied with loud shouts.
car bumper to bumper. pulls over at the side along the stretch opp expo. the furious exit of the two hot blooded males. nervous confrontation witnessed from the car. brave mum decides to join in the fray. anxious messaging. recollections of scenes from a tV show where person gets beaten to death. superimposed on dear folks. heart in throat. shouting heard..
guy appears drunk. female driver. cooling down of tempers.. he's drunk, not sober to realise the effects of his actions. realises he's out numbered.
mum returns to safety of car, a breath of relief. road directions given. both too hot headed males return. trip home resumes.
thank you prayers are mentioned deep within.
now why do guys need to brave out road issues with a fight? sigh.. it got me all jittery and brought home the point of
what if?
i just can't bear to consider the consequences if the odds were NOT tipped in our favour. thank goodness, they had the magnitude of forgiveness were clear headed to still THINK.
time to say my prayers again. oh golly bolly
