i realise
that no matter how hard you try
there are some things that will never go your way
reciprocation can never be forced
happiness remains elusive
can it be that
people only experience happiness when they are troubled?
for all the sorrow in their life
acts a contrast to the tiny happy moments
such that these stolen emotions creep in
and are truly appreciated for what they are
why do i always fall for the one who will break my heart so
