bestow strength unto me.
How do you be strong when your world collapses around you?
Prayers never begin their ritual, virgilant by your side. Who else can we turn to if not the Gods above. From whom can we draw the strength to appear cool calm and collected when inside we're dying piece by piece.
MIRACLES. do happen. Or do they?
We talk to ourselves to the point of madness, if by now the shock hasn't erroded our whole 'defence' mechanism then certainly this would.
It isn't anything bad actually.
Just the hope of something.
The unceasing needy feeling of wanting to find something to cling on to and the subsequent drops into the abyss when the realisation hits home.
The hope becomes greater and in turn the delusion.
My friend's mom is in the hospital battling for her life. The outcome of this battle is yet unknown but not too optimistic. My heart goes out to her as I witness the struggle between the inner turmoils and staying strong.
In this case, I feel that she has shown an immense amount of strength. Seeing someone you love so dearly in a situation like this is never easy.
Through this, I reached an revelation that crying is not an indication of weakness but just an expression of the feelings. The act itself is a form of strength. To expose yourself in such a state is strength. This i also refer to other occurences besides this.
Whatever the case is, I have enormous respect for people who can witness this and regain normality in their lives. Because after all, the life that resumes is very much altered as a part of you dies too..
Without trying to sound too cliche, please do learn to treasure those you hold dear. Make every day one lived without regrets. Grudges are too insignificant to be carried over to the next day. Express yourself.
Finally, let us all end this with a minute of silence for those involved in the tragedy of London's bombing.
violence is never justified.
